It’s pretty difficult to sum up the USA’s northern neighbour in just a short paragraph; it is after all the world’s second largest country after Russia. And don’t take this lightly; this place is HUGE and has SO much to offer.
Canada borders three oceans – the Arctic, Pacific and Atlantic – driving between the latter two will take you days, and at the shortest point is a similar distance as between London (UK) and Astana (Kazakhstan) or Sydney (Australia) and Bangkok (Thailand).
The true meaning of wilderness
With thousands of kilometres of wilderness and wildlife (and the odd city thrown in) between these oceans, you can have a lifetime’s worth of new experiences without even crossing a border. If you like the outdoors then this is the place for you. It’s the reason we’ve been here for five years and counting.
